Earth Day 2001
Full Circle Events is hosting a Pagan Meet for Earth Day at the
Coyote Point Museum,
which is located in the beautiful Coyote Point Bayside Park in San Mateo.
We gather at noon on Sunday, April 22nd in front of the museum. Wear
something green or Pagan-like so that we can identify and welcome you. Our
Leaders (Sia, Owlwind and Raven) will be wearing Pagan quote buttons so
you'll know us when you see us.
Coyote Point Museum is surrounded by a lovely park, right on the bay. The
museum is dedicated to teaching adults and children about nature and
ecology. They also have a wildlife rescue center and we will be able to see
the owls, hawks, and other birds in the aviary. We will also tour the theme
gardens and the wildlife habitate (which houses foxes, seals, badgers and
other rescued California wildlife. The cost to enter the museum is $3.00 for
adults, $2.00 for seniors, $2.00 for children ages 13 - 17 and $1.00 for
children ages 4 - 12.
The park has walking trails, picnic facilities, biking trails and a
playground. Bring a picnic lunch and plan to enjoy the park with us after
we all tour the museum.
Children are especially welcome at this event.
Happy Earth Day, everyone!
