AFTER
THE BALL
After 11:00pm there will be plenty to do in downtown Palo Alto. We
suggest the following activities for your witchy crew:
- Watercourse Way:
a beautiful place to relax with spas, saunas, cold plunges and
gorgeous décor. They will be open until 12:00am on Saturday so there is
enough time for an hour soak. Rooms fill up fast, so we suggest you reserve in
advance. Price is approx $18.00- $20.00 per person. 165 Channing Ave. For more
information go to http://www.watercourseway.com
- The Peninsula Creamery Fountain:
for late
night food try this 50's style diner. Elvis and Janis will serenade you as you
feast on fries, burgers and shakes. As noted in their menu, "All fountain
treats made by authentic soda jerks." Open until 12:00 am on Saturday. 556
Emerson on the corner of Emerson and Hamilton.
- Rose & Crown:
English pub. A cozy spot
tucked off the main street. When you want ale you can't see though, this is
your place. 547 Emerson.
- Q Café and Billiards:
Young, hip,
Silicon Valley. Open very late on Saturday. 529 Alma Street just before
University Avenue.
- University Coffee Café:
Open until
12:00am. 271 University Ave.
- Mackie's Supper Club:
need to sink your
fangs into a thick steak? This eatery will accommodate your cravings for meat
and mixed drinks. A likely place to run into a young-un whose company just went
IPO. Open until 1:00am on Saturday. 541 Romona Ave.
- Pizza A go-go:
recommended late night fare
of gamers and theatre crews. Open until 1:30am. 335 University Ave
